What a qualified prospect is
On Beyond Referrals, a qualified prospect is one where you have both agreed out loud that there is a real problem, it is worth money, and they are the one who decides. In Tim Kilroy's five-stage agency funnel, a prospect only counts as qualified when you can name the problem in their words.
The other stages work the same way: aware, interested, qualified, proposed and closed each count only when the prospect did something, not when you did.
